Audiotiq enables audio publishers

to succeed in a digital world.

It all started in 2018 when Alexis got his first Alexa device and how his children interacted with the smart speaker and discovered audio content. Thanks to years of experience in both web and mobile applications, he immediately recognized the pattern of a “platform play” that could disrupt a whole industry.

After launching the world’s first Skill Store Optimization solution and helping leading radio stations grow their visibility and audience on Alexa, he realized this wasn’t about Alexa or Podcasts: it was the digital transition of the whole audio industry that was happening!

In 2020, Alexis built a team around his vision to develop the best analytics solution to provide podcast publishers with data and insights on how to grow their audience, especially on third-party platforms (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.).

The company’s early commercial traction allowed it to win several awards, such as MediaMotor Europe, and attract millions in venture capital. Unfortunately, given a very complex funding environment, the business had to shut down at the end of 2023.

Supported by long-term clients and industry demand, Alexis launched Audiotiq as a consultancy to enable audio publishers to succeed in an increasingly digital world.

What sets up apart?

We believe that what set us apart are fourfold:

  • We have deep experience in the digital world, whether building websites, mobile apps, Alexa skills, large data gathering/processing/enriching solutions, or growing them to tens of millions of downloads.
  • We have a strong understanding of the Audio value chain. Our team sold Radio Transmitters 20 years ago or bought radio ad campaigns. We also witnessed the slow but accelerating shift to digital and the increasing room taken by the platforms
  • While given our backgrounds and experience, we like great frameworks and plenty of data to support our consulting approach, we are first and foremost practitioners.

Our investors

None. We learned our lessons. Audiotiq is entirely self-financed. That way, we remain independent, can control our destiny and growth pace, and our incentives are 100% aligned with those of our clients.
