Le challenge

The gap between knowing and doing

The reports are clear. The data on youth exodus is undeniable. The urgency is obvious, and everyone knows they must transform.

Very few know how to organise for it, get started, measure it, or deliver it at scale.

Digital transformation requires building new capabilities across your organization – running structured experiments, knowing which metrics actually matter, creating content that works on-demand, managing multi-platform distribution, and driving audience acquisition.

The Academy gives you the frameworks and tools to close that gap.

The academy

An 8-week intensive cohort that teaches you the frameworks to transform your radio stations successfully. No theory, no generic advice. Just proven methods inherited from the tech and startup world, adapted to radio, and that you can implement immediately.

Ce que nous allons couvrir :

Week 1: Why Digital Transformation isn’t optional – Understanding the S-curve, the generational cliff, and why radio can’t afford to miss this window. We’ll look at what happened to TV and where radio sits on the transformation curve. Introduction to the 8-dimension framework.

Week 2: Strategy & Organization – Where to play and how to win in digital audio. Building the organizational structures and capabilities that enable transformation instead of blocking it.

Week 3: Data – Forget vanity metrics and focus on what actually matters. Setting up measurement systems across platforms that inform decisions.

Week 4: Experimentation – The superpower tech companies use to reduce risk and accelerate learning. Learn how to run structured experiments, test hypotheses, and scale only what works.

Week 5: Content – Creating content that works on-demand. Format innovation, audience-first programming, working with influencers, and case studies from stations that figured it out.

Week 6: Distribution & Audience Acquisition – Managing multi-platform distribution and building audiences deliberately instead of hoping they find you. Practical tactics that scale.

Week 7: Monetization – Beyond the linear advertising model. Subscription, sponsorship, alternative revenue streams – with real numbers from real stations.

Week 8: Your Transformation Roadmap – Apply everything to your station’s reality. Prepare and present your roadmap to the cohort and get strategic feedback from peers and expert guidance.

How it works:

Format: 7 weekly 90-minute live sessions + 2-week capstone project + final presentation session

Schedule:

  • Live sessions: Tuesdays, 2:00-3:30 PM CET
  • Weekly sessions: February 10 – March 27
  • Capstone period: March 31 – April 13 (independent work)
  • Final session: April 14 (roadmap presentations)

Platform: Zoom for live sessions + dedicated Slack workspace for discussion and resource sharing

Cohort size: Maximum 10 participants (intentionally small for real interaction)

Session structure:

  • Teaching and case studies
  • Interactive discussion and problem-solving
  • Application to your actual challenges
  • Short homework between sessions (roughly 30 minutes)

All sessions are recorded. If you miss a live session, you’ll have access to the recording and can participate in Slack.

The academy is for you if:

  • You’re a CDO, Head of Digital, Head of Strategy, Head of Sales or Marketing, Station Manager, or Innovation Lead with actual decision-making authority
  • Your station has 100,000+ listeners (mid-size to major market)
  • You need practical frameworks, not theoretical concepts
  • You’re ready to implement what you learn, not just collect certificates
  • You want to learn from peers facing similar challenges

This is NOT for you if:

  • You’re looking for tactical “how to use social media” training
  • You want to simply discuss rather than lead digital transformation
  • Your station isn’t ready to invest in digital change

What you’ll leave with:

Your station’s transformation roadmap – A customized plan covering all 8 dimensions of transformation, including current state assessment, strategic priorities, quick wins, and a 12-month implementation timeline. Ready to present to your leadership.

Proven frameworks you can reuse – Blue Ocean Strategy, Value Proposition Canvas, experimentation protocols, prioritization matrices. The same tools tech startups use, adapted for radio.

A peer network – Direct connections with other radio decision-makers solving similar problems. The relationships you build in this cohort continue after the program ends.

Expert guidance – Direct feedback on your roadmap from someone who’s implemented these frameworks with stations across Europe and North America.
